How it works
Set up once. After that it runs on its own, and nobody has to remember to check anything.
Forward the school's emails
One forwarding rule in your inbox, set up once and then left alone.
SchoolHQ reads them
Dates, times, costs and deadlines are pulled out of the newsletter and put in a calendar.
Everyone gets the summary
A short WhatsApp digest on weekday mornings, and a look-ahead on Sundays.
The information
reaches everyone.
School information arrives by email, to one parent, buried in a long newsletter. Trip deadlines, kit lists and payment cut-offs get missed — and everyone else caring for the child finds out late, or not at all.
No new app
It arrives on WhatsApp, where everyone already is. Nothing to download, no account to log into.
Same message, same time
Every carer you authorise gets the same summary — the other parent, a grandparent, a childminder.
Kept in a calendar
Everything extracted is written to a shared Google Calendar, so it's there when you look.
Ask it things
Reply to the digest like you'd text a person. Carers can add something, change a detail, or just ask — and it all stays in the one WhatsApp thread.
Anything that changes a date or a cost is read back to you for a yes before it's saved, so a misread message can't quietly rewrite the calendar.
“What's on this week?”
“Add dentist appointment Friday 3pm”
“When is the swimming gala?”
“The china trip is now £195”
“Remove the museum trip”
Who it's for
- Separated parents who need the same information at the same time.
- Households where more than one adult handles the school run.
- Grandparents and childminders, who are usually last to know.
